Scarlatina, or Scarlet Fever

Scarlatina was not described as an independent dis­ease in Korea at this time, but a disease that might be scarlatina occurred in 1613 under the name “poi­sonous epidemic of the T’ang.” A detailed study of the epidemic, symptoms of the disease, and curing methods was prepared by Ho Chιm.
